While it isn't exactly a common thing anymore for her to go all sultry/sexy, there was a time when she was quite the tease with her lover. This image is a reflection of that time and what she used to be, when she was far more open to not only romance and the like, but people in general. Spending a ridiculous amount of time in isolation and having forgotten whom you love while still maintaining a longing for them tends to put people off that whole "emotions" thing.

Likes
Aside from being able to get a quiet night to herself to read one of her many books, which isn't all that often, she loves spending time with her students. Completely contradictory to her desire to be by herself most days, yes, but she adores it and them. There's something about a child's genuine innocence that makes her smile. Their curiosity can be quite contagious, and their awe and wonder infectious. Anytime she's with one of them, she can't help but feel better, no matter how she was feeling previously. It's part of the reason she spends so much time at the studio.

She also has a strange fascination with the microwave. It's a small box that you put food stuffs in and after a short amount of time, it comes out edible. Much easier and more versatile than an oven and any time she uses it, she will sit in front of it and watch things cook.

Dislikes
On the same note as the microwave, she hates cooking. You will never find fresh foodstuffs in her place, she simply does not have the talent nor patience for it. If it doesn't come mostly prepped, frozen and in a bag, she wants nothing to do with it. Or if someone else cooks for her.

On a less shallow note, she hates the words "I can't". Self limitation as opposed to physically or logically unable to do something. "I can't do this" or "I can't do that". Too many times she's heard someone say they can't do something, but with encouragement and guidance, more often than not the person has in fact been able to do what it is they thought they couldn't. Its part of why she loves her job, and as a Senshi, she will do everything she can to succeed. She never wants to have to say those words, herself, again.

Excels at
Besides her own exemplary physical dexterity, over the last couple of years she has gotten quite good at teaching children. The fact that they are young, impressionable and eager to learn helps that fact. She has a much easier time dealing with the young Earthlings than she does with the adult ones just due to the fact that they have no worries and are much more simplistic compared to their elders. And for whatever reason, the kids just seem to love her.


Has trouble with
Her biggest trouble comes with trying to relate and empathize with people. The aforementioned Adults. Not being a native of Earth and having a very different upbringing and life comparatively, she doesn't understand a lot of the emotions and stress of the typical Earthling. Relationships and good vs. bad she gets and understands on a basic level but she seems to have lost the ability to show said understanding. She's terrible when it comes to comforting people, often resorting to simply "There, there". It's the WHY they get upset over certain issues (Why is it always about boys???) that baffles her. Why can't they be easy to please like kids?

Favourite animal
With so many different species to choose from, it's hard to narrow it down to just one favourite. Definitely topping the list though, is the Firefox, aka Red Panda (or as they are known in the Monster Encyclopedia, "cuddly death-dealers"). Adorable faces, fluffy tails and their playful nature easily make them her top choice, narrowly beating out the Fennec Fox. Seriously, how can you not love these fuzzy beasts: imgur.com/gallery/CIkfG

Ugh. Just ugh.

They should have called this "The Lighting Round" instead of  pin-up. XD

I must have referenced about 1000 things for this, between Google, dA stock and lighting candles in my house to see what certain fabrics looked like against the light. I will link everything I can when I have a moment at home to do so. But I tell you whut, this was not easy. I intended this round to be all about lighting and using non-traditional skin and darker colours, along with an unusual light source that forced me to react to it more than your standard "natural light source from blah direction." I rely far too much (read: Entirely) on peach and skin tones and regular colours for regular looking pictures, cuz dark or unusual skin colours and dramatic lighting scares me silly, so this was most certainly an exercise that I couldn't afford (quite literally, my markers ain't cheap!) to muck up. Being traditional, there really isn't a handy ctrl-z function or layers I could play with. It was all or nothing. Screwing up partway through would mean completely reprinting and trying again from the start. TT^TT Thankfully, my screw ups were small and mostly salvagable. Mostly. OTL

I've been meaning to use this pose for some time. I have always loved the old style pin ups, and have several books, but this specific pose has always stuck with me. I'm soooo happy I got a chance to use it for something finally! <3
