Lupus was still lost in thought as he entered the common grounds. All the scents of the Cloaked World had assaulted him the moment he'd arrived and he was still sifting through the Old Wolf's memories of things. He was having trouble deciphering the Old Wolf's images from his own as the First Lupus tried to force the memories of the world, the grounds, the palace, the people, even the sky on him. His vision was a blurred double of everything, giving him a headache. With a snarl, Lan shook his head and mentally told the Old Wolf off, forcing him back down so he could take things in as himself.

He glanced around at the multitude of faces and people milling about. He recognized a handful of them, nodding to the ones who recognized him and smiling slightly at them. He spotted Yari chatting up a couple others, going a mile a minuted in her excitement and he gave her a grin and a wink when she spotted him. Her talking did not stop though she smiled widely back at him. His golden gaze swept across the rest of the room. So many faces he didn't know, but all their scents mingled together in a comforting familiarity that told him these people were old friends and family. His nostrils flared as he caught certain smells, Rohkeus in his mind trying to timidly show him the original faces each one belonged to. The pictures faded in and out slowly, some overlapping the faces of the real people who stood there as he scanned the massive room. He was too inwardly involved, it took him a moment to realize that someone was speaking to him.

"He..Hello? Are you lost?"

Blinking, he turned around and stared blankly at the young woman dressed in black in front of him. Her face flushed pink at his stare and she stammered slightly, looking down at her hands and feet. A purple streak of hair fell over her eyes, obscuring half her face.

"H...Hi. I...I'm Corvus. I just arrived here too, I..I was wondering if you know where we are?" Her voice was soft, but he managed to pick up her words with no issue.

"The Cloaked World," the words came to his tongue courtesy of the Old Wolf, unintentionally rumbling in his chest as more of a growl. "Home of The Lady and her Constellation Warriors."

"Oh..well then," Corvus fiddled with her skirt a little, about to say something else when a much louder female voice interrupted her from Lupus's right, startling them both.

"HI! My name is Volans! You said your name was Corvus, yes? And what's yours?" The bubbly brunette looked back and forth between Lupus and Corvus with a bright smile.

"Lupus..I.."

"Lupus, huh, the Wolf? Very cool! Have you guys had a chance to check out this place yet? There's so many amazing things, I don't even know where to start, though I suppose here is as good a place as any considering everyone seems to be gathering here and everything, which I suppose makes sense all things considered. Where are you from?"

Her enthusiasm seemed to know no bounds, and while normally he had no issue dealing with someone of such high energy, he was finding himself and his senses overwhelmed. Something that rarely happened. He mentally cursed himself for being so distracted that he hadn't heard her come up on him at all. He spotted another familiar face and started to sidle that way, politely excusing himself. Volans seemed to not even notice as she continued her enthusiastic questioning of poor Corvus.

He managed to get four steps away before a light scent wafted by him and he was bumped into. A delicate little gasp was heard and his arm was grabbed as yet another young girl steadied herself on him. She held on to him and smiled up at him, batting her eyelashes and pressing her chest into his arm. Her voice was soft and light, almost breezy, "Oh my, I am so sorry, I must have tripped."

"Are you alright?" His response was automatic.

"I think so," she breathed, hugging his arm a little tighter, "I may have sprained my ankle."

"Ah, here, sit down then," he guided her over a window ledge and sat her down, carefully pulling his arm back. With a small pause, he knelt down in front of her, deciding if she had indeed sprained her ankle, he should help, despite part of him telling him that she in all likelihood just wanted an excuse. He glanced up at her, trying to stay professional, though with how sheer her skirt was, it was nearly impossible NOT to stare at her legs, "Which one?"

The girl crossed her legs slowly, letting one of them hang in front of him as she smiled softly, "This one."

Lupus carefully took her foot in his hands, his fingers gently probing and testing her ankle as he tilted her foot first up, then down, his first aid kicking in. He could hear her barely audible giggling. Yup. Any excuse. He quickly decided she was fine and stood up with a sigh, "You should be just fine, but best to rest it for a little bit. Now, if you will excuse me."

He gave a small bow out of habit; not his habit, or was it? He couldn't tell. It didn't matter though. He took a couple steps backwards before turning back around to try to find someone he knew and come up short. Against something short. He had to look down to see what he'd bumped into and blinked as a bright haired and bright eyed girl stared back up at him, her face and chest covered in...scales?

"Hey there, big boy!" She broke out into a sly grin, "Watch where you're going or I'mma have to watch it for you. Is everything else as hard as your chest?"

"Excuse me?" Lupus tried to back up but the small girl followed him, and he found himself backed up against something else. Two something elses, rather, as wings spread out on either side of him.

"Oh what do we have here?" One voice came from his left shoulder.

"A Warrior? My, my, my, what are you hiding under all that fur?" A second voice over his right shoulder chimed in.

"Shall we find out?" The first voice, belonging to a spunky short haired girl with a blue streak in her hair grinned at the other, her hand snaking around him to tug at his shirt.

"Mmm, yes I think we should," The second voice, belonging to another girl with a pink streak (what was with the streaks with all these girls lately?) in her hair grinned back, her gaze meeting the shorter girl's in front of him as the three effectively boxed him in.

"I am definitely curious," the orange haired girl smirked up at him.

He wasn't entirely sure of who's hands were where, but one, or maybe it was two, tugged near his pants. 5 or 6 years ago he would have been all for that, but all these senses and scents and images were getting to him. He was finding himself oddly claustrophobic. He needed air. Desperately. He gently pulled the limbs away from him and slid out from between them all, "Ookaaaay, as lovely and...tempting...as you ladies are, I reeeally need to go this way now. It's been a pleasure..."

"Buuu," The girl with the blue streak said with a pout, before spotting something else and immediately perking up again, "Ooh wait, who's that?"

Both the other two turned to follow her gaze but Lupus didn't care to look. Instead he slipped away, hearing one of them call after him, "We'll get you next time Wolf-Man!"

He quickly ducked behind a ledge. This was too much, even for him. Normally he was fine, great with large crowds and people he didn't know, but this, this was something entirely different. He was supposed to know all these people. They were supposed to know him. The Old Wolf whined, trying to get him to remember, but he was pushing it too much. Lan could barely tell one face from the other. The few he'd met before, he had taken his time remembering. But there were too many of them here with too many memories flooding his mind. The stone was cool on his forehead as he pressed it against the little wall, letting out his breath and slowly taking it in again.

A different scent came his way. Very familiar and comforting. Definitely male this time however, as he looked up to see a man clad in black and armour, staring down at him with a worried look.

"You okay, man?" The armoured figure asked, "You look like you're trying to avoid being mauled or something."

"Something like that," Lan furrowed his brow in the direction of pervy trio. The other man caught his glance and folded his arms across his chest with a small chuckle.

"Ah, enough said," he smirked down at Lan, "Though they seem to be distracted now so you can make your getaway. I'll cover for you if you like."

Straightening himself up, Lan laughed a little as well, "Thanks, I think I'm good now. Just..overwhelmed is all."

The other man nodded in agreement, giving him a sympathetic smile, "Understatement."

He opened his mouth to say more but yet another familiar scent hit him and his eye twitched. This one he knew well. And he should have guessed it was only a matter of time before he ran into him here. He didn't get a chance to say anything as another male voice boomed at him from behind.

"YOU! You can't hide, Wolf! I see you there! You best be stayin' away til I say you can come near her! You hear me?"

Les's voice grated on his ears as always. He didn't have to turn to know who "her" was. Cordy. If everyone was summoned here, that meant she had finally awakened. Lan and Les had been tip-toeing around her and their past for some time now, she surely had so many questions. If it was overwhelming for Lan, it most certainly would be confusing and overwhelming for her. For now though, it seemed her attention was focused on getting her "brother" to calm down. Lan took the opportunity to slip outside and away while the siblings were arguing. As much as he would have loved to have stayed to talk to Cordy and answer her questions, he didn't want to cause a scene so early on with Les. It was just best to listen to him for now, let him win and have this one. They had plenty of time to catch up. Yup. He was so done with the crowd for now.

Outside, the air was cool and welcoming from the stuffiiness of the gathering. He felt so much better just breathing the freshness, taking in the scent of the grass and woods nearby. He'd get used to everyone again, but it had to be done slowly. Or he'd end up giving himself an brain meltdown fighting with the Old Wolf who kept trying to force the old images on him. Scrubbing his hands on his face he just started walking. He had no idea where he was going, and didn't really care. He just wanted to walk. To get away. The woods seemed to call him and didn't care to argue. His boots fell softly, his feet automatically finding a path and following it. He got an impression of something important at the end of this path. Home was the word that came to mind when he let himself just drift, let the memories take him where they willed. He came to a rock formation, completely plain and uninteresting to most people, but to him, it meant so much more. Slowly he approached, his eyes falling on an opening that seemed to beckon him in. He was so focused on the feelings that rose in him that he didn't notice the much smaller boot prints that led into the cave. His hand traced the cool stony wall as he moved further in, and suddenly, he was very aware of another scent and someone breathing. Lan stopped, inhaling slowly to catch that scent again. Another familiar one, but so very different. Different enough that it made the Old Wolf both cautious and curious as he stirred in Lan's mind again. Carefully, he took a few tentative steps forward, cringing as his boots echoed through the rock.

Just inside stood a girl. A small dark haired girl in green, who suddenly stumbled, then whirled to face the entrance. Her eyes darted back and forth, searching, passing right over him as he stood in the doorway and he realized...she was blind. His shoulders relaxed as his own curiosity rose to meet that of the Old Wolf's. He said nothing yet, merely watched, not wanting to frighten her.

Long moments passed, but finally, she quietly called out, "....Who's there?"

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

DUN DUN DUNNNNN who could it be???? XDDD

Anyway. Ugh, it's done...it's finally done.....

A while back I did up a poll to see who'd be interested in meeting Lupus....and I was flooded. XD In the end, I couldn't pick just one or two, but I sadly couldn't find time to do them all, so I picked a few of my favourites and went based off the silly conversations that ensued from them. XD If I had more time, I would do up everyone, but alas, just these ones took me well over a month to do because I have ZERO time lately. u.u;;
