Task 10: Living to Tell the Tale

Second part of a massive collaborative effort between myself and The Penguin Princess for both Lan and Arina's Tasks 10 and 11.

CS: Task 10 -Written portionThe phone just kept ringing and ringing, finally clicking over to voice mail. With a curse, Lan hung up before the recorded voice on the other end could finish their greeting. He tossed his phone onto the passenger's seat of his car with a huff, his other hand tightening and gripping the steering wheel so hard the leather creaked under his fingers. A snarl curled his lips back from his teeth as he pulled in to his assigned parking spot of his apartment complex. Shutting the engine off, he leaned back and pressed the heels of his palms to his eyes in tired frustration. It had taken nearly two hours for him to calm his mother down enough that he could get her to bed. He'd gotten the call while he was walking home with Arina from dinner and the young Hunter in training had been ever so understanding about his need to run home when his little sister had called, even insisting she was just fine to walk the last couple of blocks back to his place. But now she was not answering her phone, and


Synopsis: Lan's finally managed to convince Arina to come for a visit, but a family emergency calls him away. Upon getting back to his apartment, his day goes from bad to worse....

BTW the wolves names are Randy Macho Wolf Savage (left one) and Graoul Duke (right one). You can thank my husband for those. XD
