Ruby chewed on her lower lip as she looked around. So many new and exotic faces, so many girls had been called and gathered here for some unknown reason. Would they have to fight something? Oh who was she kidding, of course they'd have to fight, they were magical girls. She'd watched enough anime and read enough manga that she had an idea of what was in store for the group. It was just a question of what and when. But that didn't mean she wasn't still wary, perhaps even a bit scared. She was new to this and hadn't ever really fought anything before. The idea didn't really sit well with her, there was a strange heaviness in the pit of her stomach and she rubbed her hands together nervously. She didn't know if she could hurt anyone.

Her thoughts were interrupted as Swifty nudged her. The Trinity were still talking, and she soon found herself staring at the three women. To say they were gorgeous was an understatement. Diamond Unicorn's smile lit up her face and the crystal horn on her forehead seemed to glow. Moonstone Kirin's tail swished back and forth, pleased with something, while the tallest of the three, while beautiful, held a strength that Ruby did not want to test. The red-head unknowingly shrank back as she thought of the power these three could unleash together. She was just glad they were on her side and not trying to attack them.

What a twist that would make, she thought dryly before mentally slapping herself. This isn't a cartoon, they wouldn't do that, stupid Rosalina. Giving herself a shake she took Sienna's hand and, together, they slowly nudged their way forward with the rest of the girls. Apparently the imposing women had something for each of them.

One by one each girl took their turn speaking to the Trinity and walked away with a strange looking rock thing. Ruby's turn came soon enough and her mind went blank, suddenly unable to speak or move. In line, she'd had a million questions running through her head, she had even been rocking back and forth on her feet in excitement and wonder. But now, standing directly in front of them, she was so stunned by their beauty and power up close she could only stare, cheeks heating furiously.

Amethyst Dragon smiled behind her mask, geode in hand ready to give to the girl. She spoke quietly, her voice husky yet gentle, "Come, child, no need to be afraid."

Ruby swallowed, her lips moving but all she could do was give a small whine of a squeak.

Diamond Unicorn laughed softly, placing a warm hand on Ruby's back, "We dun'na bite, dun' worry. I promise! We're all here t' help you."

She wasn't entirely set at ease by her words, but the tone was enough to calm Ruby to the point she could form words finally. Stepping shyly toward the dragon woman, Ruby slowly held out her hands to take the rock. She expected it to be heavier than it was, but it in her arms it weighed next to nothing. Giving a bow and a quiet "Thank you for this honour, I will take care very good care of this," Ruby retreated and made room for the next girl to come up.

Her face was hot and her cheeks were nearly as red as her hair, but she'd survived. Searching for either Swifty or her new friend, Kachina, she hurried off, her excitement over the entire scenario beginning to bubble up again as she hugged the geode to her chest.

The Trinity, she decided, were fascinating and she was now looking forward to learning more about them and what was to come.
